A few years ago I read Pet Sematary. It’s one of the few books that I didn’t buy, I borrowed it from a friend of mine. I remember back then I wasn’t sure I would actually enjoy Stephen King. I like horror, he is known to write horror, but I was thinking he might be overrated. To this day I want to buy my own copy of Pet Sematary and re-read it, but I never find it discounted.
On Sunday morning I started reading ‘Salem’s Lot. Today is Tuesday and I already read half of it (that’s more than 350 pages). I can’t stop reading. I love it. Also, King has a fascinating writing style. No wonder he’s a bestselling author.
Next year I chose to study international bestsellers as an optional module at uni. I can’t wait to dig deeper into the secrets of writers and novels that got so popular.

P.S. The image is a bit too joyful for Stephen King, but if I were to wait for a rainy day I would have finished this book and probably five others.
