A pretty, red poppy

I’m not a big fan of flowers. I especially dislike roses. But there are a couple of flowers that simply touch my heart. The first one was lavender. Those small purple flowers with the most beautiful scent. Lavender follows me wherever I go.

Then last year I fell in love with poppies. Just like lavender, they’re all over London. And now we have one in our yard. We planted some flowers a few months ago and this lovely poppy flower was the first (and I think only one) to bloom.
