Am I an Adult now?

A while ago I read a very nice article about adults and how they don’t actually exist. Society puts a lot of pressure on us to become adults suddenly when we turn 18 (or 21, depending on where you live), but it never really trains us for that moment. Some say that being an adult means paying bills, others say that it is about cooking and cleaning, having your own house, a family, while others believe it means staying inside all day and worrying. Who knows?

Anyway, one thing is sure - being an adult means having fun at Ikea. On the bus, I realized how excited I was for going to Ikea today. We spent like 2 hours there as if it was a museum, looking at all the amazing rooms they designed in their store. Small kitchens using all possible space, drawers with drawers inside them, tables that you can hide. We couldn’t find what we were looking for, but the beauty of those things made it worth it anyway.

Now I will go live my “adult” life with some computer games and cartoons.
