This is my third annual autumn cold here on B-Side Blog. If you’ve been following me for a while, you already know that every year somewhere between the end of August and October I catch a cold. I’m 100% sure it’s not COVID cause we’ve all been doing a bunch of tests in the last few days.


I guess it’s just my body asking for a break after the long and busy summer. I’m not feeling as bad as other times, anyway. My throat is a bit annoying so I can barely speak and my nose is a wreck, but other than that there’s nothing that a bit of rest can’t fix.


Today I’m staying in bed, reading this dubious (and interesting) short story collection by David Foster Wallace. Probably not the best sick-read, but this is what I get for messing up the reading list order.
