Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the new category on B-Side Blog - B-Side Fiction! Here you will find my short stories, poems and sometimes even scripts.

So today I posted my first ‘public’ short story accompanied by one of Jeanine’s pictures. It is part of a personal project that I wanted to start a month ago, but unfortunately, it is hard to work on it now. The project? A collection of short stories inspired by random people that I see on public transport. It is all fiction, the only real part being the way the characters look. So, since public transport is empty and we spend most of our time in isolation, it’s almost impossible for me to find my characters.

The two characters from the story - Zoya and the Asian woman - are two women I’ve seen on the underground at the beginning of March as I was going to meet my parents at the airport. I had no idea who they were and knew nothing about them, but their looks turned them into characters in my brain and my brain turned them into a short story.
