Breakfast dessert for a busy Monday

I was going to make this post in the morning, but I decided to wait until the end of the day to confirm that indeed having cake as a breakfast dessert may make your busy Monday quite enjoyable. That and the fact that I had to prep for a meeting that started at 10 am and went on (with a one-hour break) until 3 pm-ish.

Today was a nice day indeed. The sun was shining into the living room, I had a cup of coffee and a cup of tea, and my meeting was super productive. I also managed to get some research done for another essay for uni (I’ve got four more assignments + the dissertation). I’m not even tired yet, but I’d like it to stay this way.

A day that starts with cake or in any other way must end with a book. So that’s what I’ll be doing.
