Brexit Day

Honestly, I almost forgot it is Brexit Day. A teacher mentioned it just because it was related to the text we were discussing - “by any other name” by Santha Rama Rau, an Indian writer.
I come from a country where most things are celebrated with money thrown out the window - concerts that no one asked for, “traditional” food and beer. Nothing like that happens here. Instead, I saw an informing event held by the Mayor of London for people who are uncertain about their future after Brexit. Some pubs and stores have special discounts. Other than that, people are going on with their lives.
This country is a NO DRAMA LLAMA.
