Coffee and the History of Tomorrow

I missed a tasty and good looking coffee. I haven’t had one in a while - I avoid caffeine when it’s very hot outside and I don’t do anything that’s especially energy-consuming. However, today it’s cloudy and therefore cooler.

My coffee was pretty when I took this picture - you can see the milk foam, cinnamon and cocoa on top. As I waited for it to cool, the foam started disappearing and the cinnamon and cocoa became part of the hot liquid. After the first few sips, in my mug, I had a light brown beverage that just tasted good. If I took a picture of it then, no one would be craving coffee right now.

Many may think that a future with cyborgs, artificial intelligence and robots is just like my coffee - it might seem pretty but by the time we’ll reach it, it will actually be worse than we thought (cold coffee tastes bad). I believe it is the other way around. I look forward to human upgrades. The future is made of coffee beans and milk, we need to brew them. Then, in time, they’ll become the norm but coffee is still coffee.
