Enjoying a little autumn sun but not this book

It was cold and cloudy in the morning. Now it's sunny. It's autumn warm with a light breeze. Perfect to photosynthesise a little bit more.

What is NOT perfect is this book. I bought it two or three years ago. Why? I don't know. Maybe the cover looked cool. Because the blurb is questionable. It's some kind of mystery but it crosses a line, in my opinion. Everything in this book is a mystery - the characters, their backstory, a kidnapping. I have no idea what's going on.

I don't like this book, but I'll keep reading because I want to see if it gets any better. I'm an optimist like that. 😅
