Essays Must Go On

Today I listened to my first online lecture - our teacher recorded himself as if we were in the classroom and shared the audio with us. All our teachers are trying their best to minimise the impact of this sudden change. We got the nicest email from one of the seminar leaders ending with ‘Stay well everyone! Keep washing those hands etc.’.
Learning must go on and essays must go on. I have an essay due on the 26th so I spent today doing some research. I’ll be writing about socially constructed identity in Kafka’s Metamorphosis and in Poe’s The Man of the Crowd. It’s going to be a simple essay because I loved both short stories and I picked a subject that I was thinking about even before I saw the essay questions.
Since I won’t be doing much in the following period, I might give you bits and pieces of my essay here. I promise I’ll try to make it interesting.
