Exam 1 - Year 2

Yesterday morning, right before I started towards Camden, my exam went live. I did my research earlier this week. Today I am planning to plan my essay and then Saturday and Sunday will be writing days.

The questions to choose from are not my favourites, to be honest. However, I like the fact that they’re quite general and the one I chose (see below) fits very well with my research.

6. Franҫois Lyotard describes the ‘postmodern’ as characterised by an ‘incredulity towards metanarratives’. Discuss how far you think this description applies to one or both of the postmodernism texts.

I’ll be writing about postmodernism in Tom McCarthy’s ‘Remainder’. It’s a fairly short essay - 1500 words - so it will be mostly general stuff, nothing too in-depth. And 1 or 2 days should be more than enough to write it all. Then I’ll have to continue my research on Sylvia Plath, Bertolt Brecht, and debbie tucker green.
