First time singing in London

‘Plus, the DEIS UK - Music in the Streets team is doing something cool tonight. But that’s for tomorrow’s post,’ I was telling you yesterday.

We went to an open mic night! Our goal was, of course, to meet some local musicians and to network, gain visibility etc. For me and J, it was also the first time we sang in London. I miss singing, but there is something I miss more - creating opportunities for youth. And I can’t wait for Music in the Streets!

I really love what I’m doing. How many people can go out on a Monday night to have fun and also work? I know for sure that youth workers can and will do that!
