How to fall in love with a book?

1. Enjoy the book. *

2. Read some scholarly articles about it.

3. Talk to someone about it - friends or teachers.

4. Read some more scholarly articles about it.

5. Write an essay about it.

* Except for step 1, they are all optional.

This is only one way to fall in love with a book and there are many more, but this is how I fell in love with Frankenstein. Right now I am at step 4 and getting ready to start step 5 the following days.

I am very excited about writing this essay! The more you look at Mary Shelley’s novel and her life, the more connections you can make. I might end up writing an article after I am done with my essay for uni - it’s going to be too long and academic to be posted on my blog, so I’ll need to write a shorter, friendlier version for the blog.
