I am getting a Counsellor accreditation (apparently)

Random things that I do: sign up for a free online LVL 2 Counselling course that will give me an accreditation.

Counselling is probably one of my favourite things in youth work. Some like to organise projects, others like to coordinate volunteers, and I like counselling (and delivering workshops). I’ve always been the ‘mum-friend’, the first port of call whenever someone needed help. For a while, I was thinking of studying psychology, but something didn’t click. Then I discovered youth work with its counselling component. I was aware, however, that I needed to expand my counselling skills. This is why I grabbed this opportunity instantly.

Other than that, it’s finally raining and I can finally wear the DEIS UK hoodie that I got from J on my birthday. I spent my whole day at artFix, studying and completing the first assessment for this course.
