I’m not sure how I feel about this book yet

As usual, as soon as I’m done with one book, I start another.

I read one chapter of ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’. The chapters are super long - 20/25 pages per chapter - which is already something I don’t really like. The cover is not my favourite either. Like many other novels that are ‘NOW A MAJOR FILM STARRING…’, using scenes from the film as a cover is not always a good idea. It makes it look like a cheap romantic drama or something.

I only read the first chapter so not much has happened. I liked the stream of consciousness bits and I am quite curious what will happen. I watched the film trailer and I think this might turn out to be a very strong book. We’ll see.
