Inspiration and 4 hours of writing

I realized that inspiration usually hits me very aggressively. When it’s time to write, I must sit down and write. I didn’t even take my shoes on today.

I got my laptop in bed so I can stay comfortably and started writing. The result? A 4-page long article/essay/presentation of youth work in general, in Romania and a little in the UK. There’s still some work to be done before I can post it - this text has to be checked by some other youth workers. I was also thinking of adding some drawings and charts so people can look at those, read the bullet points and understand the overall message.

This was something I was ‘assigned’ to do a while ago, but I didn’t have that one brilliant idea that organised all my thoughts and knowledge into one coherent article. Today, after seeing how little some people know about youth workers and what they do, the Muse sat down on my shoulder and I had to write. It took me 4 hours without too many breaks. Soon the article will arrive on the blog.
