Just finished listening to this wonderful novel

This was such a beautiful thing to listen to! I hope to find the physical book in a charity shop sometime just so I can experience it again.
"The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek" is historical fiction. It combines the true stories of the blue people of Kentucky and the Pack Horse Library Project. There's a little romance, a little history, a little drama. The text itself is written so well, thought. It was a pleasure to listen to the book and I'm sure that reading it would bring out other parts of it.
On the other hand, I started reading another book and I have so many mixed feelings about it. I'll tell you more in another post. And I'll probably start another audiobook later today too, but that will be a novel I already read albeit a long time ago.
