Kind of Quarantino

You know Quentin Tarantino. Written and Directed by Quentin Tarantino. Since we have been in quarantine for a while (actually, it is self-isolation, but for art’s sake let’s call it quarantine) and since I started working on my screenplay for uni, I shall call myself Bea Quarantino today.

After three hours of writing, I finished the first draft for my 7 page/10 minutes short film. I’m not sure my formatting is right, I don’t have a name for my main character yet, but other than that, everything is fine.

My creative process is sometimes very strange. I came up with this idea one night before falling asleep and had to write it down as fast as possible even though it was almost midnight. Today when I sat down to finally turn the idea into a script, words wrote themselves without any struggle. I like when this happens. It’s a good sign.
