My short story will be relatively long. I finished half of it yesterday and now I am working on the second half. I would have finished it yesterday, but something more tragic than my fiction happened.
Romanian senate voted for a law that bans the theory of gender identity in schools and universities. While us, normal people, fight for normality, equality and equity, politicians from the Early Middle Ages time-travel to vote laws against human rights. You can imagine that after reading this news article, I couldn’t think of anything else for the rest of the evening. I’m still shaken and all our hope is in the president who can still vote against this stupid law.
Are we all alone fighting windmills? Is anyone safe anymore? I’m worried. Very worried.
