Mary’s Diary, Exile, Day 16

Discussing with writer/youth worker human during my Exile has made me contemplate how these types of travail* might be suitable for a chatte** as well. I, myself, am quite inclined to consider writing a memoir following this brief autobiographical exercise.

I also learned about a chatte who is a youth worker. Those who frequent Baia Mare’s Youth Centre know her by the name of Deisy. She places herself on an equal level with the humans, something that I do not admire personally. However, I do acknowledge her motivations and find her work noble, especially as I would not pursue it.

My understanding of her role is that she mostly offers emotional support services while the youth worker humans undertake various other activities. Moreover, the writer/youth worker human was telling me that Deisy was also a kind of mentor for herself, an agent of the feline kind, if I may, who introduced her to our culture.
