I find it riveting to observe other fellow chats et chattes* who spend time outside the comfort of their homes. There has been such one visitor in the human’s back garden today - a blanc chat** with a few points noirs*** on the head that the humans referred to as Alien. This Alien was also observing, from a hunter-pose, a squirrel referred to as Oliva. I do not understand this fascination for hunting, but I find it intriguing to watch.

The writer/youth worker human also started reading a new book that you may see next to me. I consider reading a more valuable activity than hunting outdoors. I understand that reading is her plan for the afternoon as she had her third dose of the vaccine against the SARS-Cov-2 virus and would like to simply relax. It’s amusing that humans always need a reason to relax.
