Mondays (as most people experience them)

Sometimes there’s not enough caffeine to get you going on a Monday morning. I usually like Mondays - there’s work to do, it’s a fresh start, I feel like I can conquer everything with a cup of coffee in hand. Today I understand why people hate Mondays.

I woke up with a (silent) migraine. When I get a headache, my head doesn’t actually ache, but I feel dizzy and I feel pressure around my head. I learned this is called a silent migraine (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/migraine/). Some people would say that I’m lucky for this. No, my friend, this is not fun at all. I can’t focus, I feel drained, and medicine may or may not help, it depends.

But a Monday is a Monday. There’s work to do. And I won’t let this migraine stop me.
