New Books!

I have to tell you, today is a great day!

1. Three out of the four books I requested from the Easter Bunny arrived today. I have lots of books that are waiting to be read, but when people that you trust and appreciate recommend them to you directly or on their social media pages, I really cannot say no.

Sapiens - recommended by a good friend and also by my favourite writer, plus I wanted to read this for a while;

Homo Deus - the ‘sequel’ to Sapiens so I couldn’t have left it un-bought and un-read;

Educated - recommended by my favourite writer.

2. It’s raining! I sat down at the laptop and I was thinking about writing this post when I look at the window and see raindrops gathering. Right now I hear the rain while typing and I missed this combination of sounds so much. It probably won’t last too long, but I appreciate the moment anyway.

It is time to get wrapped in a blanket and drink a cup of rooibos and caramel tea.
