Wednesday - shopping day. Taking the bus has become an exciting delight and shopping is the most adventurous activity of the week. You learn to enjoy all these little things so much more nowadays.

Except for the queues, shopping has mostly returned to normal. Sometimes items are missing, but not more than they usually would. Some people are still buying way too much - I saw a woman with a shopping cart completely filled. But, at the same time, who knows when she shopped last or what is going on in her life?

Most people are wearing masks and keeping the distance between each other. The streets are empty and so are the buses. I’m still hoping that next time we go shopping things will be back to the way they were before, although I’d prefer things to change for the better no matter how long it might take.
