Post-essay relaxation

4000 words. Done. From now on it is just feedback and edits. If the worst comes to worst I can write my bibliography and submit everything tomorrow. Not the case. I still have plenty of time until the deadline, though.

Now I will make some tea, wrap myself in a blanket (it’s an overcast and rainy day today), and dive into ‘News of a Kidnapping’ by Gabriel García Márquez. I started it on Thursday, after coming home from the artFix productivity session with J and before going to Yoga. Also, apparently, I bought it on this day, in 2021 from Blackfen Library.

It’s true crime - about the kidnapping of ten women from Colombia by the Medellín Cartel, a drug cartel founded and operated by Pablo Escobar. The writing is really good so far which makes it an easy read and the crime element keeps the reader hooked. Perfect to take my mind off the essay.
