Rainy, cloudy day

After a super busy day yesterday, today is a lot calmer, relaxed. Still doing a lot of work, but things are slower. It’s rainy and cloudy.

I got tea, a slice of cheesecake, and the (e)Book. This weather really helps me clear my mind and charge my batteries. I’m also happy with all the work I’ve done so I can’t even allow myself to feel bad for being less productive.

One thing I learned in my twenty-something years of life is to use my energy when I have it and then appreciate my breaks. I’m a workaholic and even my breaks are at least half-work (whether it’s just me thinking about stuff or active reading), but there’s a difference between focused work and passive work.
