Revisiting the new home, sweet home

In today’s extremely hot weather we were taking buses to revisit our new home, sweet home. I can’t wait to move into that pretty house, with our own little backyard. One more week and we get the key and Jeanine.

After we left the house we took a walk around the neighbourhood. Every time we go to Woolwich something confirms that it’s an awesome place. We were eating ice cream on the stairs of the Woolwich Library and a woman passed by, looked at me and said ‘I like your hair!’. That (and the very tasty caramel, chocolate and nuts ice cream from Tesco) simply made my day.

I don’t like the fact that I have to ‘learn’ how to speak my mind so openly. There are so many times when I could have made someone’s day better with just a few words, but something held me back. What could go wrong if you compliment someone???
