Once again I am going through a very intensive reading period before I start reading for uni again. In less than 24 hours I finished Three Men on the Bummel and started another book - Cimitirul (The Cemetery) by Teleșpan. It’s another piece of literature about London, but this time from the perspective of a Romanian Gay who moved to London.

This book got me. I’ve read all evening yesterday, I’ve read on the bus on my way to a meeting, I’ve read on the bus on my way home and I’ll be reading later today and tomorrow (unless I finish it). It’s the second time I’m reading a book with gay main characters - I loved the first one so much I brought it to the UK with me and I love this one!

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera (the first one) is one of my literature goals. It has multiple perspectives and there was ONE detail I was 95% certain the author won’t get right - the ending. BUT he got it right. He got it more than right. It’s a must-read. And The Cemetery is also a must-read (unfortunately it’s only available in Romanian as far as I know). I won’t be giving more details now because I’m planning to write a full article about it. It’s another right book at the right time.
