About research, writing and editing (when it comes to articles), details about video content and the relationship with local newspapers, about PR and Journalism and most importantly, about how I can be patient again. Today was a day full of webinars for the mini-editorials, COLAJ, from all cities that will be reached by the Ideo Ideis capsule, a youth theatre festival (from Romania) that is at its 15th edition this year. This year the festival’s slogan says a lot, and I invite you to discover them. I say: done with outdated mentalities because now all that matters is the youth’s power to change the world.
Anyone can change the world. And yet, how many people aim to do this?
Today I say ‘done with outdated mentalities’, but I’ve also said this a few months ago when my world crumbled completely. Then I decided to take a step back from where I loved to be most - from volunteering activities and the so frequent interactions with people around me. I decided to put my mental and emotional health first, and that was not easy at all. Now, when I’m further in the process, I took a step ahead to new learning opportunities that for I, from a few months ago, would have meant something impossible (although now I don’t believe in impossible). And still, I’m lucky, because this pandemic seemed to know that my world was destroyed and it knew that I needed it and it offered me the time to rebuild. I wasn’t bored in isolation.
You should know there are inexplicable things. Things that you can’t find a ‘definition’ or meaning for, no matter how much you try. Then, you should know that all you need is to change your perspective.
P.S. - From my own personal experience, I tell you that it’s worth taking a step back only to return with fresh powers.
