Shoes, Sweet Shoes

Some have new shiny shoes from Santa and others just couldn’t wait to be reunited with their almost new and not yet muddy shoes.

It is great to be back in Bexley, writing about my day while looking out to the lovely park across the road. Here you can use public transport, people apologize and smile, shopping and cooking, Innocent Juice (the best juice), mozzarella sticks, recycling and the list can go on forever. Also, today was a beautiful day - mostly sunny, perfect temperature, no wind.

The only sad things that waited for us on our return were our wilted plants… Although they had water and sun and air, I believe they missed our presence and committed suicide by not drinking water. I hope that Basil and Mint will come back to us, otherwise, we’ll have a lot of spices for food and tea for drinking.
