Some stay at home, some go to museums

For me, this weekend was what other people would call ‘boring’. I just wanted to read and do nothing else. I’ll have to get myself back in the game tomorrow with some coffee or tea, but until then I just want to read.

However, Jeanine decided to do something quite exciting today. She went to the National Gallery. And she found this hunter who (unfortunately) caught a fox, but he has puppies and a horse! She came back all happy, showing us some of the paintings, and telling us about some of her favourite painters whose work she saw today.

I can imagine that for someone who’s so passionate about the History of Arts, this is the equivalent of seeing your favourite band live or reading a book that waited on your ‘Want to Read’ or ‘gotta-buy’ list for too long (this is a reference to my Goodreads ‘shelves’).
