Sooo, what is Anthropology?

Haha! Got you! You thought I was gonna give you a definition? Here I am in the second term of my MA and I still don't have a definite answer to that. Why? Because Anthropology really is what the Anthropologist needs/wants it to be. And I love that. I've also kinda realised that Anthropology can be quite focused on feelings and abstract concepts. No wonder I was attracted to it and I'm enjoying it.

Going back to uni after the break is definitely refreshing. I'll be doing a fair amount of research this term and I'm currently brainstorming themes and methods. One idea is definitely digital youth work; another one is further looking at how young people experience themselves vs how adults perceive them. This also reminds me - I've got an essay to translate and post here. I might do that over the weekend.

A quick mind-heart-body check before I go. My mind is busy thinking about research. My heart is happy for doing something she's passionate about. My body will be getting some Yoga in a couple of hours. Most likely everything will be balanced by the end of the day.
