Summertime reading

After so much science and history and theories about the past and the future, I couldn’t wait to start something lighter, some fiction. My parents recommended me this book a long while ago, I bought it this spring, and I finally got around to reading it. Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog) by Jerome K. Jerome.
And what better place to read on a beautiful summer day is there other than a hammock in the park? We had a few very hot days in London, but we were too lazy to go out. Today was windy. So windy that my desk near the window was moving. We couldn’t stay out too long, but it was enough to breathe some fresh air, see some cute dogs, read a few chapters (me)/listen to a podcast (V).
No, summer is still not my favourite, but the English summer is quite enjoyable.
