Sun makes me read more

Longer days. I can start being productive earlier in the morning and therefore finish work early, then sit in the sun to read. I think longer nights make me read more too, for different reasons. I’m probably looking for excuses now. I read a lot at all times.

After I finished work today I took my book outside. By the time the sun hid behind trees or houses and my garden was all shaded, I finished the book. It was a surreal experience. At some point, there was a fanfare playing somewhere in the distance, while I was reading about privilege and struggle.

This book was nice. It was written really well and it had some nice references to books or people that I successfully picked up on, making me feel rewarded. Today was a good day.
