Sunbathing from the window

I have discovered my new favourite place in the room. And also I discovered that I enjoy staying in the sun. For a few days now, I’ve been spending my mornings and evenings with my legs stretched out and then when I can’t look outside anymore after 5 PM because I’m blinded, I turn around and let the sun stroke my back too.

You might think this is an isolation activity, but I’d probably be doing this anyway. Why go out when you can get a nice tan from your own room?

Anyway, it’s strange that I enjoy staying in the sun so much. I had a yard all for myself where I could lay in the sun and read all day, but I never did that. At the Youth Center, I used to stay under the trees in the shade, in my hammock. All my life I’ve been Snow White and now, here I am, suddenly coming out in the light. Is this my twenties identity crisis?
