That honest ‘Thank you!’

There are very few things better than that honest ‘Thank you!’, that honest appreciation of your work and effort. And volunteering, youth work, and community work are some of the fields where you are most likely to encounter that honest ‘Thank you!’.

Yesterday we went out to celebrate Maurice’s birthday with his family and some of our partners. It was a really nice night with Networking and Fun. (I think) I learned the ‘Candy Slide’ 😃😄. But even though yesterday should have been about him, the Founder & CEO of an amazing company and my business mentor, he took a moment to give me a gift, an honest ‘Thank you!’, and this lovely card.

Words mean a lot to me - appreciation, apologies, feedback, etc. Most probably because I am a ‘words’ person’. And all of this makes me so happy.
