I just noticed that my day was the dream of every woman from the 1920s and I can live it any day in the 2020s. I can read, write, go to the theatre, see a movie, or play guitar whenever I want. I can express myself through my passions. If necessary, I can talk about anger or depression without being diagnosed with hysteria. AND I can wear trousers! Of course, this is all thanks to some cool women who had the courage to make this change.

I won’t talk about anger or depression today because I am not angry nor depressed. Instead, I wrote about Jane Eyre on #bsideblog.
