As lockdown measures get more and more relaxed, everyone is starting to reconnect with the outside world. I still don’t feel safe enough to travel too far from home, but walking around Bexley is absolutely perfect. We had some food leftovers to get rid of so we decided to go to our nearby forest to leave them somewhere for the foxes.

The weather is so nice - warm enough to wear nice summer clothing, but not too warm for a hoodie. Everywhere you go the clean air and flower scent follow you. I am usually not especially a flower person, but there are so many pretty flowers around here!

Every time we visit the forest, we realise it’s bigger than we thought. We took a long walk in the forest and met many, MANY friendly dogs and squirrels. Unfortunately, they all had places to go and things to sniff so they didn’t join the Adventures of the Muddy Shoes, but seeing them happily running around in the forest was enough for me.
