Last night J and I went to see some plays. 8 short plays, to be specific. At The Gate Clock Wetherspoons, in Greenwich.

No, not the usual place for something like this. However, I absolutely love to see artistic acts in nonconforming spaces - theatre (at the pub), music (in the streets), exhibitions, readings, whatever. In my opinion, this is the best way to get new people to connect with art. You have to go where they are, impress them, and then they’ll follow. It’s like outreach youth work.

But above all, this experience reminded me how much I miss going to the theatre every once in a while. We’ve got to do something about it!
