We have been invited to a podcast

Yep. J and I woke up this morning, had some breakfast, and then hopped onto Zoom as guests on a podcast. We were invited to talk about DEIS Ro & UK, young people, nonformal education, and youth workers. It was such a fun experience! In fact, it went so well that we might do another 2 episodes - one on studying abroad and one on life as artists (something we don’t get to talk about a lot).

I must say, I like doing this. I always liked talking, but I didn’t always have something to say. Then, I had something to say, but I wasn’t confident enough in my public speaking skills and my diction. It took some time to get here, but now I tick all my mental boxes to be ‘worthy’ of being a podcast guest.

Next step? Become a podcast host. I had an idea a while ago, but it never materialised. However, talking to J the other day, we got another idea. Fingers crossed we actually get it done.
