Where were we?

We were here. Somewhere between Bexley and Sidcup.
How did we get there? We took a walk. And our walks are usually adventures. We thought there was nothing else around here that we didn’t explore, but we discovered a road. It was a very beautiful road, through a forest, and it smelled like pine. So we kept going down the road until we saw a bunch of parked cars. We went to investigate and we found Foots Cray Meadows. When we checked our location, we found out we were close to the Five Arches Bridge, so we went there too. Then we headed home and, to our surprise, we were much closer than we thought!
I’m still amazed by the clean air and clean nature here in London. You can walk barefoot or with sandals on the grass, without fear of cutting yourself in random shards, you rarely see rubbish left behind by people, you can hear the birds (and seldom music), you can smell the river, the trees, the grass, and the flowers (instead of BBQs). I love this.
