With the Writers ❤️

I will begin by saying clearly and directly that I’m happy. I spent yesterday with the awesomest Romanian Writers (yes, with capital ‘W’) - Petronela Rotar și Ana Barton - here, in London. I missed listening to stories about books, writing, characters, and thinking about myself as a writer (for me with lowercase ‘w’, for now). Petronela, Ana, you are absolutely wonderful. I love you!

After I got home I started thinking what if… there was a Romanian Literature festival in London? We have Romanians. We have Writers. We have Readers. From my NGO shoes, I can say that there is funding for it. I have come to love our Literature, especially in the last few years. Maybe this would even be a first step towards one dream of mine: to see Romanian Literature appreciated for its uniqueness and have it translated.
