Working in Greenwich Park

After almost three months of walking around Bexley and only taking the bus to go shopping, it was finally time to try out the new almost normal.
I took my buses - 132 and 286 - as if I were going to uni. I wore a scarf covering my mouth and nose - it’s recommended to wear a non-medical mask. It was hard to breathe as my scarf was relatively thick, but I am going to buy a cotton mask as soon as possible. Most people are covering their faces on public transport and that is strange. However, it’s safer that way. Also, it’s so interesting how some people communicate so well with their eyes and there’s so much you can learn about someone just by looking at their eyes. It’s a concept that’s worth exploring.
But instead of going to uni, I went to Greenwich Park. I sat down underneath a tree, on a natural chair made by its roots and worked on my article. Writing in nature is always amazing. It also started raining at some point but it made everything more relaxing. Yet I can’t stop thinking about everything that’s going on in the world… The new normal should be peace. Can we please make that happen?
