Writing & Reading + the Sun

Especially for the purpose of these posts, I like to look at the interesting and at least slightly positive sides of each day. On some days, I don’t have to look too hard. Today is one of those days.

I started with a breakfast of mozzarella & tomatoes (Insalata Caprese, for the connoisseurs) and drank a fluffy coffee. If yesterday I was surprised that I wrote 1500 words, today I wrote 2496. No idea how. I just wrote and wrote and wrote. In the meantime, Goldsmiths Uni has upgraded my MA offer from conditional to UNconditional. To celebrate, I went out to spend a bit of time in the sun and finished ‘The Sin Eater’s Daughter’ trilogy.

This series is an 11/10 and I can’t wait for Melinda Salisbury’s new book, Her Dark Wings, to show up at my door.
