Poppies

I never was a fan of flowers

but now I’m realizing that I never looked at them.

Poppies.

So many of them around here - I have some in my yard.

Their colour is so pretty.

A few years ago I read

CONFESSIONS OF AN ENGLISH OPIUM-EATER.

Poppies.

Ever since I associated London with Poppies but

I never knew they’re real.
